Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, it is my pleasure to be here at the 5th Belt and Road Women's Forum. Today, we unite two nations in a collaborative pursuit of sustainable solutions, the theme being green, open, and sharing. Together, we explore innovative pathways that transcend borders, fostering a greener future for both France and China. Indeed, by harnessing the power of green technology, we not only address local challenges, but contribute to a global mission of making the world a better place, more sustainable and inclusive of women. So briefly, I would like to highlight some priorities. Number one, encouraging individuals to be more environmentally conscious involves fostering a sense of responsibility and providing practical tools for sustainable living. Education and awareness, number two, raise awareness about environmental issues through education and outreach programs. Informed individuals are more likely to make conscious choices that benefit the environment. Number three, incentives for sustainable practices. Governments and businesses can implement incentives, such as tax breaks or discounts for individuals adopting eco-friendly practices, even like simple things like using public transportation, recycling, or choosing energy-efficient appliances. Number four, accessible recycling facilities ensure convenient access to recycling facilities and promote proper waste disposal. Making it briefly easy for people to recycle encourages them to embrace sustainable habits. And finally, green technologies at home encourage the adoption of green technologies at the individual level, such as solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, and smart home systems that optimize resource use. Here in Sofianti Police, we take care of community engagement. We try to foster a sense of community around environmental issues. This will help for youth engagement, educate, and involve the younger generations in environmental initiatives. Empowering youth are more likely to carry forward a commitment to sustainable living into adulthood. So, by combining education, accessible resources, and community engagement, we can empower individuals to adopt more environmentally-friendly practices, fostering a collective responsibility for the well-being of our planet. Conferences like ours today provide the platform for sharing ideas, research, and solutions, creating a global network of innovation to address shared environmental challenges. Ladies and gentlemen, the impact of green technology extends far beyond national borders. By embracing and advancing these innovations, we can contribute not only to the well-being of our nations, but to the health and sustainability of the planet as a whole. Let this conference be a place of ideas, igniting a spark that propels us towards a more sustainable, interconnected, and environmentally-conscious world. Thank you very much.
