The 2nd Belt and Road Women's Forum was held in Xi'an on September 22, 2017 during the Euro-Asia Economic Forum, which was cohosted by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, People's Government of Shaanxi Province, Silk Road Think Tank Association, Beijing Normal University, China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA), and China National Health Development Research Center. With the theme of "Women's Role and Contribution in the Context of Globalization", the forum discussed the topics covering Women's Development and the Belt and Road Construction, Women's Education, and Women's Health. Onasari Gharti, Speaker of Parliament of Nepal, Qin Xiaomei, honorary Vice-President of Association of Former Diplomats of China, Xu Yongquan, Deputy Director of Silk Road Think Tank Association, Hao Fanghua, Vice President of Beijing Normal University, Li Qiufang, Standing Committee of All-China Women's Federation, Zuo Hena, President of US MDSUN Company, etc, attended the forum.
